We also believe that most Filipinos still desire change and would like to overcome the manifestation of hopelessness which is apathy. This change can emanate from the power of the individual contributing in small, meaningful ways and building up to a collective effort that can change the nation.From what I understand, Ako Mismo aims to make a big positive change through small individual, uh, changes. Parang it runs on the principle of "kung walang piso, wala ring isang milyon." Imbento ko lang yun pero parang ganun na rin yun. Kung sasabihin kasi "babaguhin ko ang Pilipinas," parang it's such a big thing, parang "kaya ko ba yun?" Sa Ako Mismo, hindi kailangan ng drastic change, Para bang step-by-step. Hindi rin ibig sabihin na Ako LANG Mismo. Sabi nga ng Ako Mismo, the power of the collective force of individuals who believe in making a difference. Individual. Pero collective. (Kapag ganito ang mga usapan, naaalala ko si Rani. At ang aming mga Go Pilipinas talks.) Sabi naman ng iba, "It's just a pledge, it's not enough." Sabi ko naman, ang isang matinong tao, kapag nagpledge syempre gagawin nya yun. Duh, pledge nga eh. Commitment dowd. Kapag nagpledge ka dun, pero nega ka pa rin, wala na yung sense ng Ako Mismo which is effort for change na mula sa sarili.
